PLS 325: Supporting LGBTQIA+ Students and Families
Building Inclusive Classrooms
This session provides a foundation for teachers to build an inclusive classroom. We will look at specific challenges of supporting students and families who identify as LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual or anything else on the gender/sexuality spectrum). This session can be taken independently or as part of the Diversity Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Series. CSTP/TPE 1-3; CTE 9, 10, 12; AE 7 are embedded throughout this session.
