PLS 342: Developing Equitable Math Practices
Inspire your students through teaching challenging, engaging and relevant mathematical concepts connected to the Mathematical Practices. This course is specifically designed to support secondary math teachers (6-12) in developing lessons that integrate student voice and choice. Learn how to flip the “I do, we do, you do” style of teaching to a "Launch, Explore, Discuss" to change the way students and teachers interact and feel about math. Participants will leave with a personalized plan to implement with their students. CSTP/TPE 1, 3-4 are embedded throughout this session.
