Professional Coaching and Mentoring Series

The North Coast School of Education is offering an optional Professional Coaching and Mentoring Series for Mentors wishing to further develop their mentoring practice. This 3 part series is available as indicated below. Part 2 is offered as a stand alone three-hour face-to-face training or may be combined with Parts 1 & 3 to be eligible for one extended education unit. Parts 1 & 3 are an online course accessible through Canvas. If interested in the one unit, after completion of all three parts, information will be provided on registering for the one unit through HSU

Part 1: Building the Mentor Role is an online course which encompasses foundational material for mentoring. Online through Canvas.

Part 3: Extending the Mentor Practice: PCMS Part 3 is designed to parallel Self-Guided Fieldwork. Mentors will be given Independent Practice options that allow for them to professional grow as a Mentor. Online through Canvas.

The dates below are only for Part 2, the face-to-face three hour training (taken as a one-time PD course or as part of the 15-hour UNIT).
