Earning The Clear Designated Subjects CTE Credential

In order to clear the Preliminary Credential, CTE teachers participate in NCSOE’s Designated Subjects CTE Credential Program. Each teaching credential has a unique set of standards that must be met in order to obtain the California Clear Credential. Coursework is a combination of synchronous (zoom) and asynchronous sessions. Upon completion of NCSOE's Designated Subjects Program and credential requirements, CTE teachers are eligible for a recommendation for their Clear Credential.

Synchronous Year 1 Sessions:

• Orientation: Tuesday, September 7, 2021 OR Wednesday, September 15, 2021
• Classroom Management & Safety: Wednesday, September 22, 2021
• Curriculum, Lesson Planning & Assessment: Wednesday, November 16, 2021
• Technology uses in Education: Orientation: January 26, 2022
• Teaching Special Populations: Thursday, February 3, 2022
• Working with the Community: Tuesday, March 8, 2022
• Sharecase: Multiple Options: 4/14/22, 4/28/22, 5/12/22
