This pre-service course focuses on classroom management and environment, and the importance of establishing a physically, socially, and emotionally safe environment where students are free from coercion and punishment and interventions are positive, proactive and respectful. Emphasis is also placed on the need for a climate of caring, respect, and fairness for all students.
